Fair parking and clean up
This year we earned over $2,000 from fair parking at Dr. Hatic's office. Thank you Dr. Hatic for allowing us to use the lot and help us earn this money. We will also be earning $1,750 by restoring the fairgrounds after the Great Darke County Fair. Thank you to all the volunteers that helped us earn these funds. This money will be used for the Junior High field experiences, transportation, Central field trips and 6th grade graduation.
Labor Day - No Classes on Labor Day, enjoy your three day weekend!
Drop off and pick up
Our outdoor environment team has prepared the driveway for all parents to see how pick up and drop off works. When dropping off students in the morning a single line of cars will form and Terry, Tammy or Chris will get students out for you. We start classes promptly at 8:30 and will begin locking the front gate by 8:20 at the end of the first week. If you need to enter the building after 8:20 you will need to call the office and Chris will unlock the gates. We appreciate your patience and understanding of our process.
When picking your child up at the end of the school day, we can fit two cars in the driveway side by side and this makes it faster for parents when picking up. You will see a yellow horizontal line - please pull your car up to this line. If your child is in the little yard (Preschool or Kindergarten) you can pull in on the right side. If your child is in first - sixth grade, please pick up on the left side. Finally, if you have a child in both yards, it is safest to pick up on the right.
